If you would like to stop receiving our catalogs in the mail, please fill out our new online form. All it takes are these two easy steps:

  1. Navigate to https://www.proedsoftware.com/mailing/index.php
  2. Enter your catalog mailing label information exactly as it appears on the catalog you received (even if the label includes misspellings or typos).

Please be aware that we buy our mailing lists well in advance of each round of catalogs, so depending on the timing of your entry you may receive one additional catalog in the mail if we purchased your name before your entry was made. Concerns can be directed to general@proedinc.com.

What are Customs and Duties on foreign shipments?
Customs charges and duties may be applied to a shipment when it enters a foreign country. These charges are determined by the country's government and are collected by the package courier upon delivery of goods. The carrier, acting as customs broker, may also charge a processing fee that you are responsible for paying. PRO-ED plays no role in assigning or collecting these duties.

How does PRO-ED Handle Alternative Media Requests?
Alternative media are electronic files (in the form of  PDFs) of products that PRO-ED provides to customers who have a documented disability that impairs their ability to read print (e.g., blindness or dyslexia). These files are then used with text to speech (TTS) software or software that creates braille or large print versions of the product. Alternative media files are NOT the same as e-books. PRO-ED does not charge for the PDF files, but customers (including students) must have first purchased a print copy and be able to show proof of purchase.

Students must make the request for alternative media through their school's Office for Students with Disabilities, Disability Support Services Center, Center for Educational Access, or the like using the request form below. PRO-ED does not provide files directly to students. To obtain alternative media files for a product, the request must come from the school and should be submitted in writing via e-mail or fax. If for some reason no electronic files are available, we will send a print copy of the item, along with a permission letter, for the office/center to scan to create files. 

Customers other than students should download our Request for Alternative Media Form (Adobe Acrobat Reader required), fill out as much of it as possible, and submit it via e-mail or fax. If for some reason no electronic files are available, we will give permission for the product to be scanned to create files. Customers will need to provide a description/documentation of their disability and proof of purchase. Material is strictly limited to the sole use of the person making the request and cannot be distributed to others.

What is your policy regarding desk copies?
We offer complimentary desk copies to teachers and professors who are requiring 10 or more students to purchase a copy of that title (usually a book) for a college course. To request the desk copy, simply send an e-mail message to deskcopy@proedinc.com with the following information: Your name and university address; the course title, number, and semester; and an estimate of the number of students you're expecting to attend the course.

What if I want to examine a text to see whether it's appropriate for my course? That's a desk copy, right?
No. We don't have the ability to send a free copy of a text to everyone who's thinking about requiring it for a course. If you're in this boat, you'll need to contact our customer service department and provide billing information so we can charge you for the book if you don't either a) return it in perfect, salable condition, or b) contact us and confirm that you've chosen to require the title for the course (giving the course and student information above).

Do you offer discounts on your products for training purposes?
Yes, if you're purchasing a test or part of a test for the sole purpose of teaching students to administer that test in a formal educational setting, then you qualify for our 40% Test-Training Discount (available only to accredited university training programs and courses on the purchase of tests). To obtain this discount, you'll need to provide us some basic information about the course for which you're ordering the test(s): title, number, semester offered, and the number of students you're expecting to attend.
